Pirate Party Invitations

 

I made these invitations for my son's birthday party.  I used the retired stamp set Ahoy Matey with Desert Sand, Cranberry, Colonial White, Black and Sunflower cardstocks.  I used the blending pen to color in the stamped sword - I love my blending pen!  I also used some Colonial White waxy flax, black brads and a black photo hanger.  Arrrrgh!

These layouts are for my March Scrap Club.  They are using the new You Rock paper kit which features Outdoor Denim, Goldrush, Olive and Indian Corn Blue.  I used the Star Power stamp set, along with Autumn Buttons.

Greetings Galore!

 

 

I'm so in love with the card workshops in the CTMH Wishes card pattern book.  I made sixteen beautifully simple cards this afternoon - in just under two hours!  I used the pattern for the Greetings Card Workshop which makes eight designs, two cards of each design from just three pieces of 12x12 paper, plus the card bases.  I used the paper from the recent Felicity collection, along with the stamp set from Felicity.  I needed a bunch of thank you cards, so I also used the Thank You stamp set, but this workshop would be fabulous to use for a multitude of occasions - birthday cards, valentines, sympathy cards or just notes to give away as gifts to friends and family!  I was very, very pleased with my results.

Sweet Valentines

 

  

I just finished making 32 of these cute, fast and easy valentines with Alex, my five and a half year old son this afternoon!  I got the idea from the January Art and Soul episode found here for these cute little paper covered valentine lollipops.  Alex chose the colors, stamps and papers, and he also did all of the writing.  The stamp is from the Adorable Backgrounds set, Baby Pink cardstock, Blush and Tulip inks, and we used various red patterned papers from the following paper packets: Animal Cookies, Perfect Day, Jingle and Evensong.  Happy Valentine's Day!
