June Scrap Club Layouts
Here are my layouts for June Scrap Club. We're using the new Moon Doggie papers and Extreme Happiness stamp set - a beautiful combination! Colors in the layouts include: Garden Green, Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Bamboo and Colonial White. I used the random stamping and stamp kissing techniques, along with Pewter brads and bigger brads and natural twill ribbon.
Check out the details for my club below:
CTMH Scrapbooking Club
- Would you like to have a designated time, once a month for you to get caught up on your scrapbooking?
- Have you ever wanted to start scrapbooking but feel a bit overwhelmed?
- Do you feel like you are just too far behind to even get started?
- Do you currently love to scrapbook and want to expand your knowledge in techniques & layout design?
- Do you like to scrapbook but never seem to find the time and have pictures piling up?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then THIS is the class for you. Come and learn how fun, creative and quick scrapbooking can be. I will teach you several different page concepts and you will go home each month with 2-4 ready to go TWO-PAGE scrapbook layouts!
When: 1st Monday evening of the month. – 6:30-8:30pm
What: Come and experience HANDS-ON how easy scrapbooking really is. Each month you will learn new concepts for your pages and go home with a finished 2-page layout. You’ll receive a packet of pre-cut paper and embellishments you need to complete your layouts, and have access to my stamps and ink pads. All you have to do is bring your adhesive and your photos if you’d like. You will have your choice of themes and colors to be sure that you are making pages you can use with your pictures. I will have those choices available to you the month before the class.
***If you need to miss a class, you can make it up!***
Cost: The class is actually free! The commitment however is to a $25 purchase of Close To My Heart products each month (before S&H). The fun part is that you are guaranteed to be the “hostess” one of the months that we meet. On that month, you will receive $25 in FREE product of YOUR CHOICE. If you’d like to complete additional layouts above the one included, you can add on each additional 2-page layout for only $2.00.
Commitment: The commitment is for a full 6-months. You can join the class during any month! If, for some reason, you are unable to attend one of the classes, all you need to do is give me a call with your class order. I will save your packet and you can do it the following month or attend one of my make up classes.
Call me at (503) 393-9146 or e-mail me at pchyblrina@msn.com to join!

Newest Card How-To Book
On my last post, I showed a card I made with the brand new Wishes book from CTMH. I can't talk enough about the fabulous features our "how-to" books have to make scrapbooking and card-making so fast, easy and beautiful! My website has more info on the latest book with beautiful card patterns, including three sets of multiple cards for all of your gift-giving needs. Jeannette is absolutely right - there is nothing better than giving a handmade creation!

Wishes!
One of my favorite things in the new CTMH Summer Idea Book is the card creation book - Wishes! It was originally not going to be released until June 1, but CTMH has it in stock now! I got mine Monday night and just could not wait to go through all of the gorgeous new card patterns and artwork inside! I whipped up this card this afternoon for my son Alex's preschool teachers as a thank you for the entire class to sign. It is the 5x7 size pattern "Circle Collection" and I used the new paper packet - Bella. The book even comes with a CD with templates for making the circles and other shapes for your card creations. I absolutely LOVE how easy CTMH makes creating gorgeous artwork so quickly! Other supplies I used include: Thank You and Boutique Borders stamp sets, Chocolate Designer Ribbon, Olive, Creme Brulee and Vanilla Cream cardstocks, Chocolate brads, 3-D adhesive squares and Desert Sand, Hollyhock and Olive inks.

Baby Bliss
I've been busy this past week with a visit to Colorado Springs to meet my sweet little niece, Hannah Sue. She is just 3 and a half weeks old now, and it was so nice to see my sister Karen and my brother-in-law Rusty with their little girl, finally here! Thank you for having me Karen, Rusty and Hannah - here are some photos of our precious time together.

Fun Card
This fun card was made using the Animal Cookies papers from the brand new Summer idea book! I love this paper - so fun and colorful. On the kite, I scored along the vertical and horizontal lines and folded it so it pops up off the card a bit. I also used the Childhood stamp set, Tulip, Sunflower and White Daisy cardstocks, Dutch Blue and Tulip inks and silver brads.
